Horário: 17:00 - 18:00 (UTC/GMT-3)
This talk covers the use of nano and micro fabrication techniques to produce passive wireless communication components and sensors for the detection and characterization of matter. The talk includes the implementation of devices using diverse technological platforms, such as additive manufacturing, inkjet printing, low temperature cofired ceramics, microelectromechanical systems, and micro/nano fabrication. Devices include filters, switches, transmission lines, antennas, optical and microwave sensors for the detection of gas, liquid, or solid material. An overview of device development from design to fabrication and testing is provided with examples.
