The International Microwave and Optoelectronics Conference is a biennial forum that happens regularly since 1985, sponsored by the Brazilian Microwave and Optoelectronics Society (SBMO) and the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S). The organization will oversee by the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and Federal Institute of Ceará (IFCe).
